Chasing your dreams, you move out of your town, to a bigger city. Everything seemed to be going a little too well: Living with your best friend, meeting new people, forming bonds beyond just friendship. But followed by the highest of highs, came lows that would turn your world upside down.

Trouble in Paradise is a Free Adult Visual Novel made in Ren'Py, with art/renders from Illusion's Koikatsu. The choices you make will have a direct impact on the story.
- The game features 3D, Anime-Style Graphics with Animated and Uncensored Lewd scenes.
- Different backgrounds and storylines for almost all characters.
- Various fetishes
- Different routes based on choices made during gameplay
Notes:
Currently, a large part of the game is kinetic. Meaningful/game affecting choices have started to show up in the later half of the game.
No NTR whatsoever planned but the game contains avoidable scenes from the past that involve LI's with other men than the MC .
The story is eventually gonna take a dark turn. If that makes you uncomfortable, please reconsider whether you wanna play this game or not. Good routes/endings will be available after it if you make the right choices
About Android Builds:
So, I'll be preparing 2 android builds for each update after part 1/v.1.0.
Android: update replaces the installed version of Trouble in Paradise Part 1.
PROS:
Less storage utilization Ability to use saves from part 1 directly.
CONS:
Cannot view scenes from part 1 anymore
Android: standalone installs as a separate app.
PROS:
Can have both TiP parts 1&2 installed at the same time
CONS:
You will have to manually move your saves from the part 1 directory to the part 2 directory, or use the lost saves feature to recover progress

Okay...heres my question...why is it always cowerds and the poeple who are scared of power that get blessed with power...the mc is scared of his blessing of power....when most humans with a brain unlike him...would kill for that kinda power....also he keeps acting like a simp too...idk...i hope as i play he changes...i liked the version of him about to kill the 2 dudes...im hoping you will give us a choice that matters...like killing someone or not...and embracing the power or not...that way i can play as cool powerful dude...and people that wanna play as a scardy weak loser can do that too, game it's self is good...wish the girls talked more while having sex...it all being silent kinda kills the mood and makes it unimportant like i can't even tell if they are enjoying it or not

Hello there. I wanted to let you know that I tried this AVN again only to find that the saves dont work. As in I started up part 2, got a fair way through it, tried to reload after shaving Iris's head and the save went right back to the start of part 2 again instead of right there on the screen with the choices.
I must add that I have become very disappointed with 'Trouble In Paradise' since Part 2 started. Not only does the save process fail to work but when I start a new game and make my choices on what I want in the story, the whole thing seems to repeat itself! I got all the way to the club and killed Evelyn and then it just seemed to reset a bit later and start all over again!
I think something is very wrong!
Its a shame because I loved Part 1.
Hey there.
Ren'Py's autosave should make a save before every choice and label, afaik. Even if you didn't save manually, there's a high chance that an autosave exists that will let you go back to where you were.
Did your manual saves not work either? Did it show some kinda error?
A traceback log would be really helpful if you have one!
Manual save did not work. No error message. Didn't see any traceback log, dont know what that is.
At this stage I am inclined to let the matter rest. As I said I have not enjoyed this AVN since Part 2 came out.
I won't try to sell you on something you've grown disenchanted with.

wait, so lets say i install part 1. (ver. 1.0) and then part 2 standalone (ver.1.8). so what happens if i then want to install part 2 update (ver. 1.9) in the future? will it replace the previous 1.8 and move the saves over? will the part1 still work properly?
You'd have to stick with the standalone branch for 1.9. Update branch will replace P1.
You should be able to safely update from 1.8 to 1.9 in the standalone branch, though. And it won't affect P1

find it on his patreon; but its pretty easy to unlock all scenes. even in a single playthrough
I'm having a problem where every save loads into the point with the photo before they tell the story of how they met to their kid of how they met, early part 2. It remembers where I was enough that I can skip to where I saved, but that's hardly enjoyable. (Hopefully being vague to avoid any potential spoiling is still clear enough).

Kinda confused, if I want to play on Android, I only need to download part 2? Or I need also part 1? (I want to play from beginning)
you will need to download part one and play through it and then download either part 2 stand alone or the update pack, if you download the part 2 update pack it will "Replace" the part 1 app with part 2 and you wont have to move save files, if you download the stand alone you will have to go into the devices data folders and find the games save data for part one and copy into the part 2 stand alone folder. Hope this helps

I finished the game in like just a few days and i thoroughly enjoyed it about how long would say is it between updates on average if you were to estimate?
looking at the recent updates, they are every couple months-ish and 1.6 - 1.7 took 54 days so id estimate around a month and half - two months between update

Edit i think i figured it out? if you lost your save, and make a new save like that, it wont carry over? i maybe doing it wrong.
AM I Dumb? the last 2 updates nothing has changed? i saved at the black and white text, this update it just says "next time" then dips out? i delete and restart but it takes me too the same point? im retarded can some one explain this to me like i am 5?
no, just click the back button, or scroll wheel back to a previous scene before the black screen, it'll continue there-on.

Really great game, love that it's not just your typical H game. It has an actual plot, great characters, humor and many moments, both dark and wholesome that keeps you interested and on the edge-of-your-seat throughout playing it.

This game really is something else have to say. Firstly, I've decided to play it for some H scenes, but after some time that I've spent in this game I was fascinated by the humor, characters and the story. To keep it short, just keep doing what you do and I hope to see the full version of this game soon enough)
I got the game last night and I progressed pretty far and then when I log on today all my unlocked scenes are gone I was halfway through page 2 does anyone have a fix for this it would really suck if I can’t get them back
